The dual-protagonist setup is one of the biggest gameplay questions surrounding GTA 6.

Jason comes from a criminal background and has experience working for drug runners in the Keys. Lucia has recently been released from the Leonida Penitentiary and is determined to improve her circumstances. Rockstar's character material presents their relationship as a major force in the story rather than a simple character-selection gimmick.

That opens the door to mission structures where their abilities, positions or relationships affect how situations unfold.
